The interesting part is that the title not original but reproduced from an article published inwww.cricketinsidestories.com online sports magazine. The subject of the article is very interesting, seems to be floating within the idea of latest global trend on BLM - Black Lives Matter movement.
I must say that BCM - Black Cricket Matters is decidedly not at par with BLM movements apart from certain similarities about non-white Cricket Administrators and players who are in true sense dominating the world but a big NO NO to ICC Cricket Development hubs namely ICC Development Department and ICC Development Committee.
A) Global Cricket among of 48 Associate members are dominated by South Asians and to some extends by West Indies origin players in Europe and America and by adding Asia with Asian origin players there are 64 Associate in same union.
B) Africa proudly claims its unique African origins among 19 Associate members, ( with exception - maximum origin participants from minority Caucasians citizens of Namibia, including National Cricket Board ).
BCM - Black Cricket Matters slogan can not be marked with racist chants because as latest as 2017 with ICC new constitution, ICC Development Department always maintained the old tradition of 90s till date where starting from names like Andrew Eade, Matthew Kennedy, Tim Anderson and present day William Glenwright heading the Global Development wing of the ICC as global managers. All are Caucasians and interestingly all are from Australia based British origins recruited to Develop ICC Cricket program globally, where global cricket by far-majority dominated in all aspect by non-white races including in Europe and America where Caucasians citizens are indisputably are in absolute majority.
Amazingly in the article of BCM it stated that even among 7 Associate representatives of ICC Development Committee members are also having in majority 5 Associate members of Caucasians race to approve policies for near 70%+ Non-White Cricket players and officials of 92 Associate members.
Now I have a very simple question and I believe that millions are having same, that is, if Asians and African origins are the principal dominance of global cricket development by contributing and making maximum players, umpires, coaches and cricket administrators then why Caucasians in ICC Development group occupying the chairs for years after years and having exclusive privileges to govern globally all Associate Members? Why?
Are they really that good to be better than African and Asian origins and providing equal justice to all including non-white Associate members? I have my own doubts in particular after reading some outstanding articles in www.cricketinsidestories.com
I want to thank regional cricket governing body ACA - Africa Cricket Association to uphold the dignity of African Cricket and maintaining its original identity in the Global Cricket spectrum.
It is the time to shout out for BLACK CRICKET MATTERS. Long Live BCM.
