When global cricket is made hostage by Pandemic COVID 19, ACA - Africa Cricket Association showed pathway to global cricket fraternity how a Continental Cricket body still can rise the bar of development through an exclusive modus operandi by reaching at home of 19 African members with a high quality Coaching of Coaches course, free of cost.
In my opinion, this was only possible under visionary policy of Development launched by ACA management, suitably in compliance with all bio protection for its members to attend from safe places of home. The executive leadership of ACA CEO Mr. Cassim Suliman is truly laudable. He proved again his capacity and capability to look after its members in Africa for common cricket benefit, even at this complicated period of COVID 19 Pandemic.
As I understand and believe that on-line Level One Coaching course is the very first of its nature, covering around 90 participants in all over Africa, providing high class course model under a very competent and qualified instructor of South Africa, the Full member of ICC and ACA with latest audio and video visuals for interested African candidates.
I have no doubt that this type of on-line courses require high level of coordination, program set up and the backing of the very tech savvy group of personnel to make it happen, simultaneously, for 5 consecutive days, as programmed.
We hope that ACA continues to serve its members and take them to another level of development.
I must admit that the commitments showed by ICC and ACA members to be part this massive pioneer project is the true reflection of African passion for ICC and ACA and their passion for African cricket.
Salute to ACA Team
Salute to all participants.
